River Garden is a comprehensive system of elder care programs and services offering inpatient and outpatient residential, medical, and therapy services. Now a four time recipient of the prestigious Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence in Long Term Care, our not-for-profit community agency has served Northeast Florida for over 60 years with excellence and caring.
We are a full-service provider of senior care programming and services. As our system continues to evolve, we will offer additional geriatric care programs and services designed to assist older people to remain in their own homes through an ever expanding array of supportive and overlay services.
Our community offers many programs and services including:
River Garden Hebrew Home - A 180 bed skilled care nursing home offering programs in Long-Term Care, Short Stay Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Care, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, and Respite Care.
The Coves - Independent Living on the River Garden Campus - An independent living retirement community consisting of 80 garden apartment homes. The Coves offers elegant, yet affordable senior housing. No Buy In. No Community Fee. No Entrance Fee.
The Therapy Center - Provides inpatient and outpatient services for clients in Physical therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy specializing in individualized innovative treatment programs that produce measurable results.
Adult Day Care - Open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to meet the needs of caregivers who work full time or who need some extra time for other daily activities.
C.A.M.P - Community Aging Management Program provides a continuum of care and services for people with chronic conditions of aging and illness, including Alzheimer’s and other dementias, helping them to remain in their own homes, if desired and appropriate, for as long as possible.
River Garden Foundation - A philanthropic organization established to provide resources for programs and facilities to enhance the quality of life for the aged.
Geriatric Training Center - Florida licensed postsecondary training school training eligible students for a healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant.
