Getting older is not always easy. Sometimes it helps to have
some assistance with making doctors' appointments, getting
help in the house, and many other things that go into being
able to live independently.
Some people have spouses, children or friends to help them.
But some people do not have anybody to turn to for help or
want to provide for their own care. The Resident Care Services
Program has enabled many people to continue to live independently
by providing support as it is needed on an individualized
basis. Sometimes just a little bit of help keeps a person
independent for a long time.
