From Hospital to Home

No one wants to go into a hospital for any reason. But, as we age, hospital visits are likely in our future. We’d like to be sure every family is prepared to make the best decisions possible in the event of a planned or unplanned hospitalization. During this hour, we’ll share some basic facts & answer your questions: How can I avoid hospitalization? What can I expect if I take a fall? What if I have a ‘cardiac event’? How do doctors determine if I need in- or outpatient rehab? What should I expect as my ‘new normal’? Most importantly, we’ll talk about how you can return home safely.
