19th Annual River Garden Golf Classic It’s that time of year again! The 19th Annual River Garden Classic Golf Tournament will tee off Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Deerwood Country Club. We proudly welcome back Title Sponsor Hardage-Giddens Funeral Homes & Cemeteries, and long time tournament chairs Mark Lodinger and Michael Price.
Registration is open! Sponsorships are available from $5,000 to $500 and include player spots, a delicious deli lunch prior to the 12:30 p.m. shotgun start and an evening Awards Reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres, a participation gift for each golfer, and signage on one hole. This great day of golf in support of River Garden is enhanced with fun contests throughout the course, skill prizes awarded on each hole and the opportunity to win lots of great door prizes.
Tournament Proceeds benefit The Albert Z. Fleet Geriatric Training Center at River Garden. The Training Center provides continuing education for existing staff and is also a Florida licensed not-for-profit postsecondary school offering classes to train Nursing Assistants. Our commitment to continuous learning is part of our goal to provide the finest care for the residents of our Home. We are dedicated to excellence in care and training, and our staff is the reason River Garden is an industry leader in Long Term Care and the recipient of an unprecedented 7 Governor’s Gold Seal Awards for Excellence in Long Term Care.
